The overwhelming majority of our directors and senior staff either started with or has worked many years for the Firm. Our Firm prefers to promote from within and advancement is solely dependent on one's ability to handle more challenging work. We are one of the few Firms that do not put pressure on our staff to bring in new clients. Professional growth of our staff is a top priority for our Firm. We believe in establishing and maintaining mentoring relationships and encouraging growth through a combination of work experience and formal training.

We complement our strong commitment to professional growth by using the most current technology in all areas of our practice. Every professional is assigned a laptop computer with the newest tax and accounting tools and research resources. Further, the Firm regularly schedules educational classes that qualify for C.P.E. on subjects presented by senior staff members.

As a non-departmentalized firm, our professionals gain experience in all areas of public accounting such as audit, taxation, management consulting and information technology. Audit fieldwork is generally conducted in one or two week time periods. Pre-audit conferences are held to discuss the work schedule on upcoming engagements. Work is carefully supervised during an engagement, and each staff member's performance is discussed at the conclusion of each interim and closing audit.

Special "training" sessions are also conducted, either in the field or in our office, to supplement on-the-job training. Mentors are assigned to new staff members to help facilitate successful transitions into our environment. Mentors continue to serve as a resource for our experienced staff, as well.
